With over 28 years of legal expertise in Calgary, Fiona has become a distinguished senior attorney, having advocated for clients across various judicial platforms, including the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen's Bench.

Her proficiency extends to mediation and arbitration, where she adopts a straightforward, efficient strategy to tackle her clients' legal issues, aiming for the most cost-effective solutions whether inside or outside the courtroom. Fiona is a staunch believer in the right to proficient legal representation, contributing regularly to the Legal Aid Society of Alberta.

Specializing in family law, Fiona founded McLean Legal to offer comprehensive legal services to a diverse clientele, emphasizing accessibility and professionalism.

As an evaluator for the Canadian Centre for Professional Education, Fiona plays a crucial role in guiding future legal practitioners through their Bar exams.

Her outstanding contributions to the legal field were recognized when she was named a King's Counsel for Alberta on March 31, 2020.

Fiona's commitment extends beyond her professional pursuits into significant community service roles. She actively participates in the Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC) Calgary and Valour Canada, dedicating her time to support military families and promote Canada's military heritage. Her military service is equally commendable, with Fiona serving as an officer in the Canadian Forces Reserves from 1987 to 2020.
