Jeanine Zahara

Jeanine Zahara joined the legal scene fresh out of the gate in June 2019, after completing her articles at Roulston Urquhart Criminal Defence Firm. Under the seasoned guidance of Tonii Roulston and Andrea Urquhart, she honed her skills and quickly established herself as a force to be reckoned with.

With a focus on criminal defence, Jeanine has tackled a myriad of cases ranging from drug trafficking to sexual assault, armed with an arsenal of legal knowledge and a razor-sharp courtroom presence. She leaves no stone unturned in her quest to secure the best possible outcome for her clients.

A true champion of justice, Jeanine has fearlessly taken on Constitutional challenges, safeguarding her clients' rights against unreasonable delays, unlawful searches, and excessive force. Even in cases involving serious violence, she has successfully argued for her clients' release pending trial, demonstrating her unwavering commitment to their cause.

Jeanine's journey to the bar began with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Philosophy from Dalhousie University, followed by a JD from the University of Calgary. Along the way, she garnered numerous academic accolades, showcasing her prowess in advocacy and dedication to access to justice.
