Michelle Carrigan

After being admitted to the bar in June 2021, Michelle Carrigan wasted no time diving into the world of criminal law. Her journey began with a clerkship at the Alberta Provincial Court, where she honed her skills under the guidance of the Honourable Judge A.A. Fradsham.

Before earning her stripes as a lawyer, Michelle pursued a Master’s Degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice Policy at the University of Guelph. This academic background laid a solid foundation for her eventual transition into legal practice.

Under the watchful eye of mentors Tonii Roulston and Andrea Urquhart, Michelle has gained invaluable experience across the spectrum of criminal law. From violent offences to drug trafficking and sexual assault cases, she has tackled them all with determination and skill.
