Umberto Cappella

Umberto, a recent addition to the firm in 2021, brings a fresh perspective and a wealth of experience to the legal landscape. Graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School, Umberto was actively engaged with Pro Bono Students Canada, showcasing his commitment to community service from the outset of his legal career.

Following his graduation in 2017, Umberto embarked on his legal journey by articling with a boutique family law firm in Calgary. Over the next two years, he honed his skills as an associate at another boutique family law firm in the same city. During this time, Umberto demonstrated his proficiency by representing clients successfully in various legal settings, including the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta, as well as in mediation sessions.

Umberto's approach to legal practice is characterized by his dedication to fostering strong client relationships and delivering solutions that are not only effective but also cost-efficient. He understands the importance of addressing clients' needs promptly and satisfactorily, ensuring their peace of mind throughout the legal process.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Umberto leads a vibrant life outside the office. An avid reader with a penchant for history, he also enjoys staying active through powerlifting, snowboarding, and hiking. This well-rounded lifestyle undoubtedly contributes to his holistic approach to law and client service, making him a valuable asset to both his firm and the community he serves.
