Matthew Kachur

As one of the founding partners at Warren Kachur Osadetz LLP, Matthew brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his diverse legal practice. Specializing in corporate and commercial law, Matthew's focus spans corporate structuring, mergers and acquisitions, financing, franchise law, and construction law. Additionally, he maintains a significant presence in wills, estate planning, and estate administration.

Matthew is renowned for his adept handling of litigation matters, including breach of contract, shareholder oppression, builders’ lien issues, and employment disputes. His advocacy skills have been demonstrated in various courts and administrative tribunals, including appearances before the Alberta Court of Queen’s Bench and the Provincial Court of Alberta.

Hailing from Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Matthew's roots run deep in the community. Family-oriented, he is a devoted husband and father to two young sons, accompanied by their lively canine companion. Beyond his legal endeavors, Matthew is known for his passion for sports, particularly as an avid golfer and ardent supporter of the Green Bay Packers.

Matthew's academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2008 and a Bachelor of Arts from the same institution in 2005. He is an active member of professional organizations such as the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Calgary Bar Association.

Committed to giving back, Matthew volunteers his time and expertise with organizations such as Student Legal Assistance, where he serves as a volunteer lawyer and mentor. He also contributes to the community as a director and vice president of the Calgary Booster Club, further demonstrating his dedication to making a positive impact beyond the confines of his legal practice.
