Peter Osadetz

Peter, one of the founding members of Warren Kachur Osadetz LLP, brings a wealth of experience to his litigation practice. His expertise spans various areas, including commercial disputes, energy-related matters, professional liability, employment law, family law, and insurance disputes.

In addition to his broad litigation practice, Peter represents clients in regulatory matters and privacy issues under the Personal Information Protection Act and the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. His diverse clientele includes individuals, corporations across different sectors, educational institutions, health service providers, and members of regulated health professions.

A significant portion of Peter's practice is devoted to estate litigation, where he works closely with executors, beneficiaries, and claimants in disputes related to estates. He also provides guidance on estate planning and administration to help clients navigate complex legal matters.

Peter has a strong presence in Alberta's legal landscape, having appeared before various courts, including the Court of Queen’s Bench, the Provincial Court of Alberta, and the Alberta Court of Appeal. He has also represented clients before administrative boards and tribunals, as well as assisting with matters at the Federal Court of Appeal, the Canada Transportation Agency, and the National Energy Board of Canada.

Outside of his legal practice, Peter enjoys spending time outdoors exploring the mountains with his family and friends. He shares these adventures with his two four-legged companions, Pepper and Murphy.

Peter's academic background includes a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Alberta in 2010 and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Lethbridge in 2007. He is an active member of the legal community, holding memberships with the Law Society of Alberta, the Calgary Bar Association, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Alberta Civil Trial Lawyers' Association.

Committed to giving back to the community, Peter volunteers his legal services through the Pro Bono Law Alberta - Volunteer Lawyer Services Roster Program, demonstrating his dedication to serving those in need of legal assistance.
