Cassidy Johnston

Born and raised in the interior of British Columbia, Cassidy's journey into law took her across continents. After earning her LL.B (Honours) in the United Kingdom, she spent seven years practicing family law in Toronto. In 2021, Cassidy made the decision to relocate to Calgary to be closer to her family.

Her career in family law began as a law clerk at a small boutique practice in Toronto. She then transitioned to a larger provincial firm, where she completed her articles before returning as an associate lawyer after being called to the bar. Throughout her tenure, Cassidy focused primarily on complex property and spousal support matters, gaining experience at all levels of court and developing a strong background in written advocacy, including appellate work.

Cassidy's approach to client matters is both pragmatic and compassionate. She collaborates closely with her clients to understand their priorities and concerns, guiding them towards a resolution that aligns with their goals. By empowering her clients with the information and understanding necessary to navigate their legal disputes, Cassidy seeks to achieve efficient and satisfactory outcomes.

Having been called to the Ontario Bar in 2019 and the Alberta Bar in 2021, Cassidy is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta. Her dedication to her clients and her commitment to excellence make her a valuable asset to the legal community in Calgary.
