Jena Colpitts

Jena's journey into law began with her Bachelor of Social Work and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Manitoba in 2012 and 2015, respectively. During law school, she dedicated her time to volunteering at the Legal Help Centre of Winnipeg and received recognition for her commitment to justice.

At Taylor McCaffrey LLP in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Jena honed her skills exclusively in family law before making the move to Calgary, Alberta. Her background in social work equips her with a unique perspective, allowing her to navigate the emotional complexities of family law disputes with empathy and understanding.

Jena is dedicated to helping her clients find resolutions to their legal matters while minimizing conflict. She is well-versed in various forms of dispute resolution, including litigation, negotiation, mediation, and arbitration. As a mediator, Jena specializes in parenting matters but is proficient in mediating all family law issues.

Recognized as "One to Watch" in Best Lawyers: Canada for 2024, Jena continues to make strides in her legal career. Recently elected as the newest Member-at-Large for the Canadian Bar Association's Alberta Branch Family Law (South) Section, she remains actively involved in professional associations such as the Law Society of Alberta, Law Society of Manitoba, Calgary Bar Association, and Canadian Bar Association.
