Medina, an esteemed member of Vogel LLP's Family Law group, brings a wealth of experience to her practice. With a background in social work spanning two decades, she offers a unique perspective on family law matters.

As a seasoned advocate, Medina has represented clients in various Alberta courts, including the Provincial Court, Court of King’s Bench, and Alberta Court of Appeal. Her extensive courtroom experience equips her with the skills to navigate complex legal disputes effectively.

Medina's transition from social work to law provides her with a deep understanding of the human impact of family law issues. She approaches each case with empathy and strives to find tailored solutions that meet her clients' needs.

In recognition of her legal expertise and contributions to the profession, Medina was appointed as Queen’s Counsel in 2022. Additionally, she is a trained Mediator/Arbitrator and Registered Collaborative Family Lawyer, equipped to handle complex disputes through alternative dispute resolution.

Medina's commitment to giving back extends to her role as an instructor at the University of Calgary Faculty of Law, where she teaches in the Trial Advocacy program. Furthermore, she serves as a Parenting Coordinator, assisting high-conflict families in implementing parenting plans and facilitating agreements.
