Spencer dives headfirst into the complex world of litigation and dispute resolution, carving out real-world legal strategies tailored to the intricate needs of businesses. His legal acumen spans a broad spectrum, addressing contract quarrels, workplace disagreements, shareholder battles, construction-related disputes, and the intricacies of debt recovery. A diverse client base, ranging from employees and employers to builders, property owners, and various corporations, rely on his expertise to navigate their legal challenges.

Navigating the legal system with finesse, Spencer has successfully represented clients in various levels of court within Alberta, including the Court of Justice, Court of King’s Bench, and Court of Appeal. His legal journey is underpinned by a solid educational foundation, starting with a BA from the University of Winnipeg, moving through an MA from McGill University, and culminating in a JD from the University of Manitoba. His quest for knowledge took him even further afield to The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where he immersed himself in international business and human rights law.

Since gaining admission to practice in Alberta in 2014, Spencer has tackled a plethora of cases. His work in employment law is particularly noteworthy, covering everything from drafting and analyzing employment agreements and policies to navigating complex termination and restrictive covenant issues. He's equally skilled in business litigation, where his accomplishments include resolving contentious disputes over intellectual property, negotiating the dissolution of franchise agreements, and mediating business sales and purchases.
