Basil Bansal

After earning his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta in April 2011, Basil pursued his Juris Doctor from Bond University in the Gold Coast, Australia, graduating in October 2013. He was admitted to the Law Society of Alberta in 2016 and the Law Society of British Columbia in 2017.

Basil is committed to delivering exceptional service to both commercial and individual clients across a diverse range of litigation matters. His expertise encompasses personal injury claims, contract disputes, construction disputes, debt collections, landlord and tenant disputes, product liability cases, and insurance matters, including long-term disability and automotive insurance breaches. Additionally, Basil has garnered experience in Criminal Court proceedings and Real-Estate transactions.

As legal counsel, Basil has represented clients in various judicial forums, including Provincial Courts in Alberta and British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the Court of Queen’s Bench in Alberta.

Though originally hailing from Saskatchewan, Basil considers Alberta his home, having spent most of his life in the province. Beyond the confines of the office, he enjoys exploring the culinary scene by trying out new restaurants and cafes with family and friends. Basil also finds relaxation in activities such as biking, reading, and staying abreast of the latest technology trends.
