Chukwuemeka Ibezim Dimiri, affectionately known as Chuk', embarked on a new chapter of his life when he migrated to Canada in March 2013, bringing with him a wealth of experience from nearly two decades of practicing law in Nigeria. His academic journey began at the distinguished Obafemi Awolowo University Ile-Ife Nigeria, where he earned an LL.B. (Hons) Degree in 1991, leading to his admission to the Nigerian Bar in December 1992. In Nigeria, Chuk' showcased his legal prowess across various courts, including the Court of Appeal and Federal and State High Courts, specializing in General Civil Litigation and Practice.

Upon arriving in Canada, Chuk' initially joined the Home Depot in Grande Prairie, Alberta, where he excelled as a Department Supervisor for three years from April 2013 to March 2016. His relentless pursuit of excellence saw him successfully challenge the Federation of Law Societies of Canada, NCA Qualifying Exams, by February 2015.

Chuk's legal journey in Canada continued as he joined STRINGAM LLP in Grande Prairie, Alberta, in March 2016, where he honed his skills as a Student-at-Law. He worked there until May 13, 2022, before moving his practice to Calgary, Alberta, to join Osuji & Smith Lawyers. Admitted to the Alberta Bar on July 7, 2017, Chuk' now practices law and mediation, focusing on Family Law, Employment Law, Real Estate, Wills & Estate, Civil Litigation, and Mediation.

Beyond the courtroom, Chuk' dedicates himself to community service. He has been an active member and treasurer for the Rotary International Club of Grande Prairie – Sunrise Chapter, a Paul Harris Fellow, and a board member for various organizations including the United Way Alberta Northwest and Christ Church Anglican in Grande Prairie. His commitment extends to volunteering with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (Winners’ Assembly) in Grande Prairie, the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, Assistenza Legal Network Referral Organization, Legal Aid Alberta, and the Centre for Newcomers, where he offers free legal advice and information to those in need.

Chuk' is not only proficient in English but also speaks Ibo, his native Nigerian dialect, facilitating better communication with a diverse client base.

On the personal front, Chuk' cherishes over two decades of marriage with his spouse, with whom he shares an adorable son, underscoring the importance of family in his life. Through his journey, Chuk' exemplifies dedication, adaptability, and a deep-rooted commitment to both his profession and the community at large.
