Ainsa Hepburn

Ainsa Hepburn stands out as a dedicated legal professional with a comprehensive background in the field. Having pursued her legal studies at the University of the West Indies, the University of Ottawa, and the Eugene Dupuch Law School, she boasts a solid educational foundation. Before her legal pursuits, Ainsa excelled in economics, securing a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from Dalhousie University. Her career began in The Bahamas, where she was admitted to the Bar in 2018, and expanded to British Columbia in 2022, marking her as a member of both bars.

Her journey in law was marked by a keen interest in legal aid, fueling her desire to support those in need. This dedication was recognized when she received an award for being the most outstanding student in legal aid services. Beyond her professional commitments, Ainsa contributes her skills to the community as a volunteer lawyer. She supports the Access Pro Bono Society of BC, focusing on residential tenancy and employment standards tribunals.

Ainsa's involvement in the legal field extends into her personal life, where she actively participates in community service. She serves as a director for Black Women Connect Vancouver, a nonprofit organization. Her interests are varied and include traveling back to The Bahamas every Christmas, keeping fit, shopping, and indulging in television series.
