In her career, Lisa has played a pivotal role in numerous noteworthy insolvency cases. She offers counsel and representation to a broad spectrum of clients, including insolvency practitioners, companies facing challenges, lenders, suppliers, as well as directors and officers, among other key stakeholders. Her industry knowledge is vast, covering sectors such as cannabis, mining, retail, oil and gas, technology, and manufacturing.

Beyond insolvencies, Lisa's acumen in litigation is formidable. She skillfully manages commercial disputes, tackles contract issues, and pursues debt enforcement with vigor. Her courtroom presence is notable across various jurisdictions, having advocated in all court levels within British Columbia and Alberta, as well as before the British Columbia Securities Commission.

Lisa's academic background is distinguished, holding an LLB with distinction from the University of Saskatchewan, awarded in 2006. Her commitment to her field is further demonstrated through active involvement in several prestigious organizations. Since 2020, she has been a member of the Insolvency Institute of Canada. She served as the past president of the Turnaround Management Association's Northwest Chapter beginning in 2018. Her engagement with the British Columbia Insolvency Model Order Committee has been active since 2015. Since 2013, she has been part of the International Women's Insolvency and Restructuring Confederation. Furthermore, since 2006, Lisa has been a dedicated member of the Canadian Bar Association, contributing to the Insolvency and Civil Litigation sub-sections.
