Daniel Nowosad

Since graduating from the University of Manitoba with both a B.A. in '72 and an LL.B. in '75, Dan Nowosad has carved out a notable legal career. His expertise spans several areas including civil litigation, corporate matters, criminal defense, family law disputes, injury claims, real estate transactions, and the drafting of wills and estates. Operating from Port Hardy and Port McNeill, Nowosad's firm joined forces with the MacIsaac Group in 1993, marking a significant expansion.

The roots of Nowosad's practice trace back to 1976, when he, alongside Eldon Iverson, set their professional cornerstone in the North Island region. This venture saw significant growth, with Iverson ascending to the bench as a Provincial Court Judge in the mid-1980s. The team also saw Brian Klaver, a key figure who had become part of the firm in 1981 and later served as Port Hardy's mayor, appointed as a Provincial Court Judge. Recognizing the need to cater to a broader client base, Nowosad inaugurated an additional office in Port McNeill in 1995.

Renowned for his seniority among lawyers north of Campbell River, Nowosad's clientele includes over 160 companies. His role as the city solicitor for Port Hardy underscores his pivotal position within the community. Beyond his legal pursuits, Nowosad enjoys golf and proudly stands as a founding member of the Seven Hills Golf and Country Club, showcasing his diverse interests and contributions to local culture and recreation.
