I had the pleasure of working with Christopher H. Johnston on a particularly tricky real estate transaction in Revelstoke, and I couldn't be more thankful for his expertise and dedication. From our first meeting at his Nakusp office, Chris made me feel completely at ease, despite the complexities of my case. He's got an impressive background, having honed his skills since the late 1980s after studying at McGill and the University of Saskatchewan, which shows in his confident handling of diverse legal areas.

Chris is genuinely a jack-of-all-trades in law, but what stood out to me was his ability to make complicated legal jargon understandable for someone not versed in law. He navigated through the corporate commercial and real estate laws with such finesse that even the most daunting parts of the process seemed manageable. His commitment to the community, evident from his long tenure on the City Council since 2002, translates into his work ethic, making him a lawyer who's not just about the billables but truly about making a positive impact.

Our dealings took us to some key spots around Revelstoke, where Chris seemed to know everyone, which I believe played a role in the smooth resolution of my case. His familiarity with the local landscape, including the ins and outs of the real estate market, was invaluable.

Since graduating from the University of Manitoba with both a B.A. in '72 and an LL.B. in '75, Dan Nowosad has carved out a notable legal career. His expertise spans several areas including civil litigation, corporate matters, criminal defense, family law disputes, injury claims, real estate transactions, and the drafting of wills and estates. Operating from Port Hardy and Port McNeill, Nowosad's firm joined forces with the MacIsaac Group in 1993, marking a significant expansion.

The roots of Nowosad's practice trace back to 1976, when he, alongside Eldon Iverson, set their professional cornerstone in the North Island region. This venture saw significant growth, with Iverson ascending to the bench as a Provincial Court Judge in the mid-1980s. The team also saw Brian Klaver, a key figure who had become part of the firm in 1981 and later served as Port Hardy's mayor, appointed as a Provincial Court Judge. Recognizing the need to cater to a broader client base, Nowosad inaugurated an additional office in Port McNeill in 1995.
