With her legal roots sprouting at Thompson Rivers University, where she clinched her JD in 2020, she didn't just bury her head in books. As the brains behind the editorial team of the Canadian Journal of Comparative and Contemporary Law, she also bagged top honors in Privacy Law and Fundamental Legal Skills, showcasing her prowess early on.

Her law school journey was nothing short of remarkable, with Tiana throwing her hat in the ring at prestigious moot competitions like the MacIntyre Cup and even skating her way to the finals of the Hockey Arbitration Competition of Canada. Not just content with competing, she now mentors the next wave of legal minds in the very same competition. Her team's triumph in the Exchequer Cup Moot and their victory in crafting the Best Respondent Factum speak volumes of her knack for legal strategizing and teamwork.

In 2021, Tiana found her professional home at KSW Lawyers' Abbotsford office, marking a new chapter in her career. Her pre-KSW days were spent sharpening her legal teeth as a clerk for Justice Barnes at the Federal Court of Canada, where she delved into administrative law, national security issues, and class actions, laying a robust foundation for her litigation career.

Tiana's story began in North Vancouver, and before the legal world beckoned, she was immersed in the study of Communications and Political Science at Simon Fraser University, graduating with distinction. Away from the courtroom dramas and legal jargon, Tiana unwinds by stirring up culinary delights, exploring the serene waters of BC on her paddle board, and camping under its starry skies, embodying the spirit of a true explorer, both in and out of the legal arena.
