I need to talk to you about my New Case

Hello Kira, I'm contacting you as I believe that you were the Defense Attorney for my daughter NT. Thank you for representing her. I had been to the downtown court previously when she was to appear, however she did not show up. My wife and I live in Chilliwack and have been following N's progression through the court system via Provincial Court Services online. We've been trying to get in touch with her as we've not had contact for 18 months now. My wife of course is very concerned. We do understand that you're restricted in terms of information that can be shared, however, would you be able to confirm that she did in fact show up in court in person? As you can imagine, as parents not having regular contact is awful and very easy for us to assume the worst. According to the provincial record I've seen, it looks like she must have shown up, given the judicial interim release notation, however, I'm not trained in this field and so would very much appreciate your advice. I would be happy to purchase some of your time in order to get up to speed on how the court works so that at least we can have the peace of mind knowing that someone has seen her and presumably she's all right, should she attend a court proceeding again. Hi Kira Dhillon. I am writing on behalf of your client FM currently in custody at North Fraser Pre- Trial Centre Port Coquitlam. I am a long time friend and support F from time to time. F called me yesterday indicating he is trying to call you and reach you on the phone... he would like to set up a Treatment Program at VISION Quest before his Bail Hearing. I asked F if he is aware of John Howard Society and he does not. FPM can use a Recovery House or similar program as he is homeless and he has been on the Housing Registry at BCH Orange Hall for years and I am the contact person for him if there is unit available and no calls for past years for housing.
