Dan Steiner, a vital member of our business division, plays a pivotal role as the leader of the mergers and acquisitions team in our Vancouver branch. His expertise extends to guiding a broad spectrum of clients, including corporations, private equity entities, family-owned enterprises, and pension schemes through the complexities of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, the inception and funding of new business endeavors, alongside overarching corporate legal issues. Steiner's acumen and strategic guidance have been instrumental in clinching the ACG British Columbia's "Dealmakers of the Year" accolade for transactions in 2016, 2014, and 2010.

His proficiency isn't limited geographically; Steiner has a rich background in handling both Canada-US and internal Canadian deals. His portfolio is diverse, having supported clients across various sectors such as infrastructure, technology, manufacturing, resources, entertainment, hospitality, and transportation.

Before his tenure with us, which began in 2015, Steiner had amassed considerable experience in corporate and securities law with a prominent national firm. His journey in the legal domain also includes a stint at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York, focusing on M&A between 2000 and 2002, after practicing in Toronto post his articling period there from 1996 to 1999.
