Jennifer Lang-Hodge, a dynamic associate within our employment and labour division, plays a pivotal role in bolstering the team with her expertise. She is instrumental in providing senior counsel with robust support on a myriad of employment and labour matters. Her areas of focus include ensuring adherence to employment standards, navigating the complexities of workers' compensation, crafting employer policies, and guiding through the intricacies of hiring and termination processes. Jennifer's proficiency extends to handling cases of wrongful dismissal, interpreting collective agreements, and addressing harassment and discrimination complaints. Furthermore, she is adept at ensuring privacy compliance among other related domains.

Before her tenure with us, Jennifer honed her litigation skills at a specialized family law firm, which enriched her practical legal acumen. Her commitment to broadening her skill set led her to successfully complete a seminar on mediation and conflict management, offered by the prestigious Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.

Jennifer's legal journey includes a significant stint during her law school days, where she immersed herself in the judicial system as an intern at the Provincial Court of British Columbia. This experience in her final term provided her with a unique perspective on legal proceedings and judicial decision-making.

Jennifer's academic credentials are impressive, with a Juris Doctor degree from the University of British Columbia in 2016, preceded by a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the same institution in 2013. Her legal expertise was officially recognized with her admission to the British Columbia bar in 2017.
