Her roots trace back to Bonnyville, Alberta, where her connection to the Metis Nation of Alberta instilled a deep sense of pride and cultural identity.

In her legal practice, Sasha specializes in navigating the complexities of mergers and acquisitions, steering commercial leasing agreements, forming and revamping businesses, and advising on commercial finance and real estate transactions. Her prior experience includes working on projects related to short-term bridge financing, leveraging federal and provincial tax credits, and securing government grants, which has equipped her with a broad perspective on financial matters.

Sasha's educational background is as impressive as her career, with a dual-major commerce degree in Business Economics and Business Law from the University of Alberta, complemented by a Juris Doctor from the Peter A. Allard School of Law, where she focused on Business Law. Her leadership skills were honed during her time as an executive member of the Indigenous Law Students’ Association at the University of British Columbia, further enriching her legal education and professional ethos.
