Allard School of Law, where he obtained his J.D. in 2016. Brett's admission to the British Columbia bar in 2017 marked the beginning of his formal legal career.

He actively contributes to the legal community and beyond, serving as a Director for Board Development since 2021, participating in the CoRe Mediation Advocacy Moot, and being a part of the board of directors for Her International. His past involvement with the Mathews Dinsdale and Clark LLP Canadian Labour Arbitration Moot Team and his membership in various professional associations, including the Canadian Bar Association and The Law Society of British Columbia, highlight his commitment to the legal profession and its development.
