Mandeep Gill

Mandeep embarked on her legal career at Harper Grey, starting as an articling student in 2003, and quickly progressed to an Associate role the following year. Her journey through the legal profession has been marked by her dedication to civil legal affairs and her adept handling of disciplinary cases for medical professionals under scrutiny by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia, as well as the Health Professions Review Board. Her courtroom experience is extensive, showcasing her skills across all judicial levels within British Columbia, and even reaching the prestigious Supreme Court of Canada.

Her academic foundation was laid at the University of British Columbia, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in 2000, followed by a Bachelor of Laws in 2003. This education set the stage for her admission to the British Columbia Bar in 2004, further solidifying her commitment to her chosen field.

Mandeep's expertise in health law has not only defined her career but also contributed to her involvement in various legal communities. She has played an active role in the South Asian Bar Association, serving as its past secretary, and maintains memberships with the Canadian Bar Association's BC Branch, where she focuses on civil litigation and health law. Her commitment to the legal profession extends to the Law Society of British Columbia and the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia, reflecting her broad engagement with the legal community.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Mandeep is deeply invested in her community. She co-founded and organized a fundraising initiative for the BC Cancer Foundation, successfully gathering over $90,000 for cancer research. Her passion for supporting her peers is evident through her volunteer work with Life In Law, where she advises fellow legal professionals, showcasing her commitment to both her profession and her community.
