Kaleigh Milinazzo

Kaleigh stands out as a dynamic Associate within Fasken's Litigation & Dispute Resolution group. Her expertise spans handling intricate commercial disputes, alongside white-collar and regulatory defense issues. Throughout her career, Kaleigh has provided counsel on a variety of legal matters including shareholder disputes, commercial fraud, and conflicts arising from contractual disagreements. Her courtroom presence is notable, having represented clients across all judicial levels in British Columbia, and she notably contributed as a junior in a complex commercial trial that extended over 75 days.

Her commitment to legal education and mentorship shines through her past role as the course coordinator for the Advanced Trial Advocacy class at the University of British Columbia (UBC) between 2018 and 2020. Moreover, Kaleigh dedicates her time to guiding future legal professionals through the Canadian Bar Association's Student Mentorship program.

Kaleigh's academic journey in law began at UBC, where her exceptional skills earned her several accolades, including the prestigious Richard R. Sugden Q.C. Prize in Trial Advocacy. Her academic excellence did not go unnoticed, as she was honored with the Wesbrook Scholarship and the Premier Undergraduate award, marking her as one of the university's most distinguished students. Before joining Fasken, Kaleigh gained invaluable experience clerking at the BC Supreme Court and serving as an intern for the President of the International Criminal Court.

Her professional journey is underpinned by a strong educational foundation, with a JD from the University of British Columbia, and a BA in Political Science and International Studies from the University of Northern British Columbia.
