In April 2019, Amy embraced a new chapter in her professional journey by joining the ranks of Whitelaw Twining. Amy's career trajectory has seen her evolve from a litigation partner at a premier national law firm to the role of General Counsel for a conglomerate of home service franchises spread across North America and Australia. Moreover, her stewardship of the legal affairs for British Columbia's foremost Crown tenure holder in the coastal forestry sector underscores her knack for blending legal expertise with business strategy. This blend aids her in navigating litigation matters and fostering client relations to secure optimal outcomes in the tangible world. Amy's tenure as a Civil Resolution Tribunal member between 2017 and 2020, adjudicating small claims and strata property disputes, has enriched her perspective with firsthand decision-making experience. Her competence extends across all judicial tiers in British Columbia, complemented by her proficiency in French.

Amy's legal prowess is underpinned by a solid educational foundation, with a Law Society Gold Medal from the University of British Columbia's LLB program in 2003 and a B.A. with Honours in English from the same institution in 2000. Her professional affiliations include membership in the British Columbia Bar since 2005, the Law Society of British Columbia, and the Canadian Bar Association, reflecting her esteemed standing in the legal community.
