He is adept at advising insurance firms regarding their obligations under an array of policies such as General Liability, Commercial Property, Comprehensive Homeowner, Course of Construction, and Life & Disability insurance.

Having co-founded the Subrogation Practice Group at his firm, and once led the Insurance Coverage Practice Group, John brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the table. Notably, John, who is legally blind, also helped establish the firm's Disability & Inclusion Committee, showcasing his commitment to diversity and inclusion.

John's approach to resolving disputes is characterized by his creativity and thorough understanding of complex legal challenges. Beyond his professional life, John's personal interests include cooking, traveling, and spending quality time with his wife Crystal and their two sons. He has also impressively completed the Vancouver-Whistler Gran Fondo bike ride twice, much to the amazement of those who know him.

John's educational background is solid, with degrees from the University of New Brunswick and the University of British Columbia. His professional credentials are equally impressive, being admitted to the Bar in both British Columbia and the Northwest Territories. He is an active member of various sections of the Canadian Bar Association and the National Association of Subrogation Professionals.
