Sanja Kraljevic

Since joining Whitelaw Twining in 2014, Sanja has been deeply involved in the realm of general insurance litigation. Her expertise spans a broad spectrum, touching on areas like subrogation, property damage, and bodily injury, not to mention her contributions to human rights and employment law. Sanja's proficiency extends beyond the courtroom to alternate dispute resolution methods. She has a knack for settling disputes outside the court through informal negotiations or mediation, thanks to her balanced mix of cooperation and assertiveness, coupled with a perpetually positive outlook. Sanja's journey into law wasn't direct; it followed an enriching path that began with a business degree from the University of British Columbia, leading to an intriguing role in Puerto Rico as a marketing coordinator for an IT consultancy. Beyond her professional life, Sanja is an avid traveler. Her adventures take her around the world, exploring diverse cultures, cuisines, music, art, and history.

Her academic credentials are solid, holding a J.D. from the University of British Columbia since 2012, after completing her B.Com. there in 2009. Sanja's legal acumen was recognized early on, with her admission to the British Columbia Bar in 2013 and later to the Yukon Bar in 2017. Her active engagement extends to her role as an executive member of the Canadian Bar Association's British Columbia Insurance Law Subsection.
