His legal journey took off at a leading litigation firm in Western Canada, where Shannon sharpened his skills through numerous trials, becoming an adept advocate and strategist. This early exposure laid a solid foundation for his subsequent pivot to employment law, a field for which he developed a keen interest. This shift saw him join a firm dedicated to employment law, further honing his ability to navigate complex workplace issues and advise employers on their operational challenges.

Shannon is known for his practical approach to problem-solving, consistently delivering pragmatic and timely advice to his clients. His commitment to understanding the nuances of each case allows him to devise effective strategies that meet the unique needs of his clients.

Since being called to the Bar in BC in 2020, Shannon has continued to build on his expertise. His academic credentials include a Juris Doctor from the University of Calgary and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of British Columbia. His involvement in professional organizations such as The Hooplaw Society, the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers BC, the Vancouver Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association since his early years in practice reflects his commitment to the legal profession and his efforts to contribute to the broader legal community.
