Andrew Kemp

Andrew has carved a niche for himself in the realm of corporate law, serving both local and international clientele. His expertise spans a wide array of corporate transactions, with a pronounced focus on mergers and acquisitions. His advisory role encompasses guiding both publicly traded and privately held firms as well as private equity entities through the intricacies of share and asset deals, corporate restructuring, financing, and an assortment of other legal proceedings. Before his tenure at Lawson Lundell, Andrew honed his legal skills at a premier national law firm located in Calgary, where he embarked on his career following his legal education. His academic journey began with a Bachelor of Arts with First Class honors from the University of British Columbia in 2013, followed by earning his Juris Doctor degree from Dalhousie University in 2016. His legal prowess was recognized with his admission to the Alberta Bar in 2017 and subsequently to the British Columbia Bar in 2019.
