Before delving into the legal field, Chris enhanced his expertise as a senior consultant and auditor, focusing on IT risk and assurance in an esteemed international accounting firm's Vancouver branch.

Chris's commitment to his field is evident in his active participation in various professional bodies. He's not only a member of the Canadian Bar Association and the Law Society of British Columbia but also holds a qualified membership with the National Association of Parliamentarians. His credentials are further bolstered by his non-practicing membership as a Certified Information Systems Auditor with ISACA. Beyond his professional engagements, Chris has served the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers BC as a past president, showcasing his dedication to community involvement.

His legal prowess is backed by an impressive educational portfolio. After securing his Bachelor of Commerce with honours from the University of British Columbia, where he made the Dean's List in 2009, Chris furthered his academic pursuits. He earned both an M.B.A. and a J.D. from the University of Calgary in 2016, achieving the Dean’s List in both programs. His bar admission in British Columbia in 2017 was a testament to his growing legal expertise.
