For over three decades, Peter has honed his skills in litigation across Vancouver, embracing a diverse array of legal challenges. Initially focusing on criminal law, he transitioned to tackling cases in civil and commercial litigation, including those entwined with fraud allegations. His courtroom presence spans every level within British Columbia, extending his expertise to various professional forums. Peter's legal acumen is recognized across multiple Canadian jurisdictions, showcasing his adaptability and breadth of knowledge.

His legal portfolio is extensive, covering product liability, disputes over property law, cases of professional negligence, and the intricacies of insurance defense and coverage. Peter's proficiency also extends to defamation, intricate commercial disputes, contract disagreements, corporate law complexities, and the nuanced realms of banking, insolvency litigation, and the administration of estates. Notably, he has skillfully handled and contested injunctions, including the sophisticated Mareva and Anton Piller orders, and has pioneered in executing strata corporation windups in British Columbia.

Between 2008 and 2010, Peter led the Litigation Group at Lawson Lundell, further cementing his leadership and expertise in the field. Beyond his courtroom achievements, Peter actively contributes to Lawson Lundell’s Commercial Litigation and Dispute Resolution Blog, offering insights into evolving legal and business landscapes.

His commitment to the legal community is evident through his active membership in the Canadian Bar Association and his leadership roles, including serving as Vice President for the Justice Education Society and holding positions on the Vancouver Bar Association Executive Committee and The Advocate's Editorial Board.

Peter's involvement extends beyond professional commitments to community engagement, where he supports the Lighthouse Park Preservation Society and has contributed to the arts as a former director of the Touchstone Theatre Company and a past director of the Law Courts Inn.

His bar admissions underscore his legal proficiency, being recognized in British Columbia since 1991, the Northwest Territories since 2009, and Nunavut since 2017. Peter's academic foundation in history from McGill University and law from the University of British Columbia equipped him for his distinguished career.
