A member of the Brokenhead Ojibway Nation, Christina embarked on her legal career in 2010 when she was admitted to the bar. Her professional journey has been multifaceted, encompassing roles such as in-house counsel for a prominent national insurer and engaging in private legal practice within the provinces of British Columbia and Manitoba. Christina's expertise spans an array of domains, notably civil litigation and regulatory issues. Her legal acumen has been demonstrated across various court levels in Manitoba, including appearances in the Supreme Court and Provincial Court of British Columbia.

In July 2023, Christina's peers recognized her expertise and commitment to the legal field, leading to her election as a Bencher. In this capacity, she contributes to the Credentials Committee and the Truth and Reconciliation Advisory Committee, reflecting her dedication to upholding the integrity and ethical standards of the legal profession.

Christina's contributions extend beyond her professional duties; she is deeply invested in the legal community, particularly in fostering the growth and representation of Indigenous legal professionals. As the founder of the Aboriginal Lawyers Forum (ALF) under the Canadian Bar Association's BC Branch, she pioneered a groundbreaking initiative in Canada.
