5 out of 5 stars

I recently had the pleasure of working with David Reid on a particularly complex merger involving our tech startup and a major player in the industry. From the get-go, David was more than just a lawyer to us; he was a strategic partner, guiding us through every step with a calm and practical approach that made all the difference. His knowledge of corporate finance and mergers is second to none, but it's his experience in mining law that adds an unexpected layer of depth to his expertise.

Our deal had various components, including some international aspects that seemed daunting at first. However, David navigated these with ease, thanks to his extensive experience with transactions across North and South America, Eastern Europe, and even down under in Australia. He brought a level of expertise and insight that you don't come across every day, especially when dealing with the legal intricacies of merging two companies.

David's connections across the globe and in the heart of our city were invaluable. It felt like he knew everyone, from the financial institutions downtown near the waterfront to major players in the tech scene over in the tech hub area of the city. This network, combined with his experience, made our process smoother than I could have imagined.
