Danica Beck

Danica holds the position of Associate within the Family Law Group at Watson Goepel LLP, where she dedicates her expertise to guiding clients through the complexities of family law. Her practice encompasses a broad spectrum of family-related legal issues, including the division of assets and property, parenting and child custody, child and spousal support, as well as crafting domestic contracts and agreements. Danica's experience spans appearances in the Provincial Court, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the Federal Court, advocating on behalf of her clients.

She commits to a practice marked by a dedication to quality and a high standard of service, recognizing the emotional and financial strains that accompany family separations. Her focus is on finding effective and economical solutions to resolve conflicts, ensuring her clients are both well-informed and confident throughout the process.

When not deeply involved in her legal practice, Danica is an avid pursuer of the outdoors, often found soaking up the sun, tending to her garden, or venturing into new landscapes alongside her German Shorthaired Pointer, Bella.

Danica's academic background includes a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Thompson Rivers University, awarded in 2018, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of British Columbia, obtained in 2014. She was called to the British Columbia Bar in 2020.

Her professional engagements extend into various memberships and affiliations, highlighting her commitment to the legal community and beyond. Danica is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Trial Lawyers Association. Further cementing her dedication to community service, she serves as a Cabinet Member for Easter Seals BC & Yukon and supervises law students involved in pro bono work through Pro Bono Students Canada.
