In 2003, Janet embarked on her legal journey with Watson Goepel LLP, starting as an articling student before swiftly moving up to an associate role in 2004. By 2014, she had risen to the rank of Partner, a testament to her dedication and expertise. Janet specializes in navigating the intricacies of Personal Injury, Insurance, and Estate Litigation, providing her clients with the clarity and support needed during challenging times.

Leading the Personal Injury Group, Janet tackles a diverse array of accident claims. From slip and fall incidents to negligence by bouncers, and from recreational mishaps to a myriad of injuries caused by careless or wrongful actions, she manages and supervises cases ensuring justice for the aggrieved.

Janet's roots are deep in the Deer Lake area of Burnaby, where she grew up and currently resides with her family. Away from her legal duties, Janet enjoys spending quality time with her teenagers, attending hockey and gymnastics events, enjoying cheap Tuesday night movies with her husband, and walking her Frenchie, Carlii.

Her academic credentials are impressive, holding an LLB from the University of Victoria (2003) and a BA from Simon Fraser University (2000). Janet is licensed to practice in British Columbia since 2004 and expanded her practice to Alberta in 2024.
