David's legal expertise spans a broad spectrum, emphasizing proactive measures to prevent disputes and achieving resolutions that are both practical and efficient. His skills cover a range of areas, including but not limited to, resolving complex contractual issues, navigating the challenges of insolvency, addressing construction-related claims, and tackling intricate labour, employment, and human rights matters.

With a rich background in advocacy, David has represented clients across various judicial levels, from the courts of British Columbia and Alberta to the Ontario Superior Court and even the Federal Court. His experience extends beyond the courtroom to include numerous administrative tribunals within British Columbia. David is well-versed in alternative dispute resolution techniques, such as mediations and arbitrations, offering clients diverse approaches to resolving their legal issues.

Before joining Harris in 2022, David honed his skills at a prominent litigation boutique in Vancouver, where he further solidified his reputation as a skilled litigator.

In addition to his professional pursuits, David actively contributes to the legal community. He is a member of both the Vancouver Bar Association and the Canadian Bar Association. His commitment to justice and legal access is demonstrated through his volunteer work with Access Pro Bono, where he offers his expertise to those in need.

David's areas of practice are wide-ranging, encompassing commercial litigation, employment, human rights, labour, and workplace law. Since being called to the British Columbia bar in 2014, David's educational background has been foundational to his success. He earned his JD from the University of British Columbia in 2013, following a Bachelor of Arts with High Honours from the University of Saskatchewan in 2007, equipping him with a robust foundation for his legal career.
