In the claim filed by Arbabi on October 5th, she alleges that McLelland committed trespass by setting up a privacy screen on her rooftop deck within their Fairview condominium complex. In this document, Arbabi refers to herself as "i, a woman," and states that the matter will be adjudicated in the "naomi arbabi court."
While I'm not a legal expert, it seems McLelland might have a solid argument. Arbabi's approach gives the impression of someone deeply rooted in the sovereign citizen movement.

A Vancouver woman is asking for the courts to make an example of her neighbour, a practising lawyer she alleges has filed a baseless pseudolegal lawsuit against her in an attempt to "provoke a state of fear."
Arbabi: "As such harm is a very grievous trespass, i, shall claim remedy in the amount of $500,000 for such trespass plus $5,000 a day for as long as the trespass continues,"
Arbabi responded: "when you ask i if i am Naomi Arbabi the answer is always no as Naomi Arbabi is an incorporated name and does not refer to a living breathing woman."

I hope you will get the help you need. The "lawsuit"was bizarre enough but trying to threaten a journalist, thereby ensuring a news story that will live forever, demonstrates serious mental impairment.
