Since embarking on his legal career in 2004, Brian JP Corcoran has distinguished himself in the realms of Corporate and Commercial Law, Finance, and Real Estate Law. Before turning to the law, Brian's journey was anything but conventional. With a foundation in Neuroscience, aiming for a future in neurology, a pivot toward law was not something he had originally envisioned. His diverse pre-law experiences, ranging from working in a helicopter company to a stint at a chicken processing plant, and from laboring on the railroad across the Prairies to life at sea on an oil rig, have instilled in him a profound understanding of the varied facets of Canadian life and work. These experiences, coupled with living in six Canadian provinces, have enriched his approach to legal practice, enabling him to connect with clients on a more personal and understanding level.

Brian's academic credentials include an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and a B.S. in Psychology/Neuroscience from Dalhousie University, where he was recognized for his academic excellence. His professional affiliations with the Law Society of British Columbia and the Canadian Bar Association since 2005 underscore his commitment to the legal profession and continuous learning.
