Juliana Pyde

Juliana, a seasoned family attorney, brings a wealth of knowledge and empathy to her practice, specializing in areas such as divorce, cohabitation issues, crafting parenting plans, child and spousal support, splitting family assets and liabilities, addressing family violence, and navigating adoption cases. Her journey in family law began at the Rise Women’s Legal Centre, where, following her legal training, she honed her skills in both negotiating and contesting family law matters. Her experience is broad, having advocated for clients in both the BC Supreme Court and the Provincial Court, showcasing her capability to navigate the complexities of the legal system.

Juliana's commitment to family justice was evident even during her law studies, dedicating her time to volunteer at women’s organizations. This work not only enriched her understanding of the legal challenges facing families but also underscored the critical need for accessible legal support.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Juliana has a passion for baking, staying active through fitness classes, and immersing herself in the energy of live music events.

Her academic achievements include a Bachelor's and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of British Columbia, with her legal prowess recognized through awards like the Arthur Close, QC Prize for Advanced Legal Research and the Beverley McLachlin Legal Access Award. Juliana's admittance to the Bar of British Columbia in 2021 marked the start of her formal practice, where she continues to advocate for fair and compassionate legal solutions for families.
