Brian Cheng

A seasoned litigator, Brian Cheng, dedicates his expertise to commercial disputes and defending insurance cases. His legal journey began with a law degree from Seattle, where he was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2011. Opting to build his career amidst the familiarity of family, Brian moved back to Vancouver in 2014, where he further honed his skills and pursued a Master of Laws at UBC, impressively leading his class in several subjects. His academic pursuits didn't slow down his professional momentum; he joined a prominent Downtown Vancouver firm specializing in insurance litigation and civil disputes as an associate.

Brian's legal prowess spans a diverse array of fields, including but not limited to insurance, construction, and corporate conflicts, along with landlord-tenant disagreements, professional liability, property destruction, and injury claims. His clientele is equally varied, representing entities from property developers and corporations to telecommunication firms, governmental bodies, and non-profits, alongside insurance providers.

Brian's courtroom appearances are not confined to British Columbia's legal forums; he has advocated for his clients in both Provincial and Supreme Court settings, and even the Court of Appeal.
