Christine York, serving as the Director of Associate and Student Programs at Alexander Holburn, is the cornerstone of the firm's dynamic talent development strategy. Christine's role is exclusively focused on the enrichment and progression of associates and students. Her background, predominantly in litigation, especially in defending professionals, has equipped her with a unique perspective in guiding young legal minds. Her expertise isn't just confined to professional defence; she's adept in handling a wide array of legal issues, ranging from general insurance defence to personal injury cases.

Her journey with Alexander Holburn commenced in 1994 as a summer student. After dedicating a year to a Clerkship at the British Columbia Supreme Court, she embarked on her professional journey as an Articled Student and later as a litigation Associate. Her dedication and legal acumen led to her becoming a Partner in 2004.

Away from her professional life, Christine is deeply devoted to her family, cherishing every moment with her loving husband and their two remarkable sons. She's passionate about cooking, traveling, and golf, and eagerly shares these interests with her children.
