Courtenay Catlin brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her role as a vital contributor to three specialized groups within her law firm: the Defamation + Publication Risk Management Practice Group, Information + Privacy, and Insurance practice groups.

At the core of Courtenay's professional portfolio is a focus on litigation. Her diverse experience spans multiple domains, including defamation, professional negligence, personal injury, privacy, anti-SLAPP legislation, occupier's liability, class actions, and human rights issues. Courtenay's acumen in these areas is underscored by her successful representation of clients in both the Provincial Court and the Supreme Court of British Columbia.

Before her current flourishing legal career, Courtenay embarked on her journey with the same firm as an articled clerk, a position that paved her way to becoming a barrister and solicitor in May 2021. Her time in law school was marked by a string of notable achievements and engagements: she took part in the Willms & Shier Environmental Law Moot, led the environmental law club as its president, dedicated her time to a poverty law clinic, and enriched her global perspective through studying at the University of Helsinki in Finland.
