Jennifer O’Leary is an accomplished attorney with a distinguished presence in the firm’s Insurance and Local Government Practice Groups. Her legal prowess is primarily centered around defending individuals in a variety of cases, including those related to municipal law, administrative law, personal injury, and property damage. Jennifer is particularly adept at representing professionals, ensuring their interests are vigorously defended.

Beyond her defensive work, Jennifer plays a pivotal role in the firm’s Subrogation Recovery team. Here, she adeptly handles subrogated claims, striving to secure favorable resolutions on behalf of her clients. Her meticulous approach in this realm is both strategic and effective, reflecting her deep understanding of the complexities of subrogation law.

Jennifer's legal acumen is further enhanced by her experience in mediation. During her legal studies, she actively engaged in a mediation program, where she trained to serve as a mediator in Small Claims disputes. Although she does not currently practice as a mediator, the invaluable skills she acquired from this experience are routinely applied in her legal practice. She leverages these skills to negotiate and achieve advantageous outcomes for her clients, always with a keen focus on safeguarding their interests.

On a personal front, Jennifer is deeply committed to giving back to the community. She dedicates part of her free time to the Make-a-Wish Foundation of BC & Yukon. In this role, she finds great fulfillment in helping to realize the dreams of children battling life-threatening illnesses, bringing moments of joy and hope to their lives.

Before embarking on her journey in law, Jennifer explored the world of performing arts. She holds a background in acting and has graced the stages and screens of Vancouver, Los Angeles, and Taiwan. This unique experience has endowed her with exceptional communication and presentation skills, which she effectively channels into her legal career.

Jennifer’s interests span beyond her professional life. She is an avid reader and enjoys the culinary arts, often experimenting with new recipes in her kitchen. Additionally, she is an enthusiast of snowboarding and traveling, activities that reflect her adventurous spirit and love for new experiences.
