There apparently was a mistake in issuing the land title more than 30 years ago, and your clients wish to rectify that error to enable them to sell their property. My lawyer, Jeremy Sapers, says that he had contacted you about possibly swapping the titles. I am wondering if your clients are willing to do this, especially since the situation has dragged on for more than a year. I was surprised the error was not discovered when the Ackers purchased the house and qualified for two mortgages. There would have been far fewer legal hurtles at that time to change the titles. Now, with the Canadian government prohibiting non-Canadians from purchasing homes, the situation is much more complicated. I would very much like to help the A, but, as the situation continues, the legal expenses are becoming unsupportable, as I am retired with very limited assets. I would greatly appreciate receiving any legal advice that would help both the A and me resolve this issue a quickly as possible
