With roots deeply planted in Nanaimo, British Columbia, Nav embarked on his legal journey at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. His academic pursuit there culminated in a Bachelor of Laws degree, laying the foundation for his legal career. After honing his skills and knowledge in law school, Nav returned to his beloved British Columbia, determined to make a meaningful impact in the legal field.

Although his professional hockey aspirations were curtailed, Nav humorously admits to his pursuit of golfing excellence, aspiring to join any golf tour that would have him.
