Alan Jordan's journey into the legal field is a narrative of transition, passion, and dedication. Hailing from Regina, Saskatchewan, and later settling in British Columbia, Alan's early years were spent far from the courtrooms and legal documents that would later define his career. His move to Victoria in 2007, alongside his spouse, marked the beginning of a deep-seated affinity for the island's charm and vibrancy. It was here, at the University of Victoria, where Alan's academic pursuits took shape, culminating in a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, complemented by a minor in History in 2014, followed by a Juris Doctor with a Co-op designation in 2017.

Before his foray into the legal world, Alan's career path was markedly different. He navigated the roads as a class 1 truck driver and honed his skills as a services technician for a BC-based window manufacturer. This phase of his life, prior to 2011, bestowed upon him a unique perspective and work ethic that would later enrich his legal practice.

Alan's legal career officially commenced with his articles at Horne Coupar LLP, leading to his admission to the British Columbia Bar in January 2019. It didn't take long for Alan to discover his zeal for estate work, where he adeptly assists clients with their planning, litigation, and administration needs. His approach to law is both practical and pragmatic, ensuring clients receive straightforward and effective solutions to often complex problems. Alan's competence and confidence have seen him represent clients successfully in both the Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia, showcasing his versatility and commitment to justice.

Outside the confines of legal work, Alan's life is rich with personal joy and activity. Married to Kelly, the couple, along with their three energetic sons, immerse themselves in the fullness of island life. Whether it's a family outing or Alan guarding the goal at the local rink, his life outside the office is as dynamic and fulfilling as his professional endeavors.
