Laura Taute

In July of 2018, Laura Taute embarked on a new chapter in her professional journey by joining Morgan Tidalgo Sukhodrev & Azzolino LLP. Her legal odyssey began over sixteen years prior, when, as a young legal assistant, she delved into the intricacies of personal injury law in a Las Vegas firm. Concurrently, she pursued her studies at the University of Nevada Las Vegas, earning a B.A. in Marketing with a Minor in Economics in 2007. Her academic achievements didn’t stop there; Taute furthered her education at California Western School of Law, where she not only made the Dean’s Honors List but also earned the right to practice as an Attorney in her final year, graduating in 2011.

Before her relocation to the Bay Area, Taute sharpened her litigation prowess as an Assistant Public Defender in Georgia, tackling cases ranging from minor infractions to serious crimes such as murder. Her courtroom experiences there significantly distinguished her in her field. Upon moving to the Bay Area, she initially continued her focus on civil litigation before venturing into family law.

Married to a military service member, Taute's life has been a mosaic of moves across various states, affording her a unique perspective and breadth of experience in the legal profession. Her licenses to practice in California, Arizona, and Georgia are a testament to her wide-ranging expertise. Outside the courtroom, Taute cherishes moments with her family, indulges in woodworking, and enjoys discovering the hidden gems of the Bay Area.
