Joy Antonette B. Diaz embarked on her academic journey at the University of California, Irvine, clinching a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, with a Sociology minor in 2013. Her college tenure was notable, marked by her involvement in the National Honors Society, her role as a peer tutor, and her placement on the Dean’s Honor List. Her educational prowess continued at Chapman University's School of Law, where she excelled, graduating cum laude in 2017 and securing the 8th rank in her class. Her law school experience was distinguished by multiple CALI Awards for her exceptional performance in courses such as Negotiations, Criminal Law, and Remedies, to name a few. Diaz also shone as a Senior Editor for the Law Review and made her mark in moot court competitions.

Before focusing on family law, Diaz honed her skills in criminal defense for two years, managing a caseload that included both misdemeanors and felonies. Her approach was tenacious, characterized by meticulous research and vigorous courtroom advocacy. Transitioning to family law, she now handles cases involving child custody, divorce, domestic violence, and more, with a commitment to delivering justice and supporting her clients through challenging times.
