Jaymi Salisbury's journey through the legal field has been marked by determination and success. Her academic career began at the University of Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, coupled with a minor in Religious Studies, in 2008. Her pursuit of legal expertise led her to Santa Clara University, where, in 2019, she secured her Juris Doctorate, underpinned by a Faculty Law Scholarship.

Before embarking on her legal studies, Salisbury was immersed in the legal sector of the Bay Area, contributing her skills to a patent prosecution law firm and engaging with various roles within the criminal division of the Santa Clara County Superior Court. Her law school tenure was notable; she emerged as a semi-finalist in the Internal Trial Team Competition and participated actively in the Honors Moot Court, reflecting her advocacy prowess.

Her internship at the Santa Clara Superior Court's Family Justice Center became a turning point, sparking her interest in family law. Here, Salisbury supported individuals in navigating the legal complexities of family-related cases, including filing for restraining orders and assisting with parentage and dissolution documentation. This experience not only honed her legal skills but also deepened her empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by those in the family court system.

Salisbury's commitment to family law was further solidified through her academic choices, including courses in California Community Property and Family Wealth Management, and her advocacy work at the Katharine and George Alexander Community Law Center. Here, she championed the rights of low-income individuals against unfair business practices.

Passing the California State Bar Examination in July 2019 marked another milestone in Salisbury's career, leading to a role as a Post-Bar Law Clerk in criminal court, where she crafted detailed legal memoranda and advised on complex cases. Her transition to Hoover Krepelka, LLP as a Post-Bar Law Clerk, and subsequent promotion to Associate Attorney, underscored her growing legal acumen.

Outside the courtroom, Salisbury finds joy in family time with her daughter and dog, Claudia, exploring beaches, restaurants, and hosting gatherings. Her passion for treasure hunting at sales and markets reveals a lighter side to her industrious persona.
