Wenjia Ma embarked on her legal journey at Pennsylvania State University Dickinson Law School, securing a Master of Law degree, thanks to a merit scholarship. She advanced her studies at the University of Maryland School of Law, where in 2019 she earned a Juris Doctorate, specializing in Health Law. During her academic tenure, Ma honed her legal skills as a law clerk at a civil litigation firm. Her responsibilities spanned drafting pleadings and motions, managing discovery processes, aiding in deposition preparations, and crafting pre-trial communications.

Her quest for legal prowess led her to internships that further broadened her experience. At the Johns Hopkins Health System Legal Department and the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, she immersed herself in the intricacies of health law. Before her tenure at Hoover Krepelka, LLP, Ma championed the cause of economically challenged individuals at Bay Area Legal Aid, where she liaised with medical experts to prepare cases, negotiate terms, and represent her clients effectively in hearings.

Now an Associate Attorney, Ma operates in California and Maryland, offering legal guidance and representation across a spectrum of family law matters. Her practice areas include the dissolution of marriage, child custody, support, and spousal maintenance, as well as tackling domestic violence cases, modifying court orders, and handling post-judgment issues. She also assists with parentage actions and provides consultation in mediation and alternative dispute resolution strategies.
