I am contacting you seeking an advice regarding my terms of employment. I have been working in one of the private clinics in Dublin for 6 years. Unfortunately last November I had a hiking accident and I am unable to work due to my knee injury. I was advised by finance and HR department my employer will not pay for my sick leave period. I have looked into my contract and I could not found even one word about sick leave terms and conditions. I tried to contact HR department on several occasion but I got no response to my emails regarding this matter. Going further I noticed that my contract does not include other terms of employment I believe are required by the law. I was wondering if we can meet to discuss if there is anything I could do in this regard and also what is the fee for your advice?
